Shipping & Delivery Policy

This policy applies to all orders placed via mirrorlab.nl

 

1. General

All MirrorLab mirrors are made to order. Each mirror is custom produced based on your specifications after your order is confirmed and payment is received. Because of this, production takes time before shipping can begin.

 

2. Production Time

Standard production time is 6 to 8 weeks from the date of order confirmation and receipt of payment. Complex orders (custom shapes, illuminated logos, Smart Mirror) may require additional time.

You will receive an email confirmation when your order enters production and when it ships.

Production starts only after full payment is received and your design has been approved.

 

3. Shipping

3.1 Shipping destinations

MirrorLab currently ships to the Netherlands. Shipping to other European countries is available upon request. Please contact us before placing an order if you are located outside the Netherlands.

3.2 Shipping method

All orders are shipped via insured freight with tracking. Due to the size and fragility of our mirrors, standard parcel services are not used. We work with specialized freight carriers to ensure safe delivery.

3.3 Shipping time

After production is complete, shipping from our production facility to the Netherlands takes approximately 3 to 6 weeks via sea freight. Express shipping via air freight (1 to 2 weeks) is available at additional cost. Please contact us for express shipping rates.

3.4 Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this to track your shipment at any time.

 

4. Import Duties & Customs

MirrorLab mirrors are produced outside the European Union. Orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees upon entry into the Netherlands or other EU countries.

These costs are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping cost.

MirrorLab is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.

Tip: For orders above €150, import duties may apply. We recommend checking the current EU import duty rates for your country before ordering.

 

5. Damage During Shipping

Mirrors are fragile products. Despite careful packaging, damage during transport can occur. The following policy applies:

5.1 Visible damage on delivery

If your mirror arrives visibly damaged (damaged packaging, broken frame or glass), please refuse the delivery and contact us immediately at info@mirrorlab.nl or via WhatsApp +31 6 14 66 31 91.

Take photos of the packaging and the damage before refusing delivery. This is required for any damage claim.

5.2 Hidden damage

If damage is discovered after opening the packaging, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging.

5.3 Resolution

Depending on the nature and cause of the damage, MirrorLab will offer one of the following solutions:

— Repair or partial replacement of the damaged components

— Full replacement of the mirror (production + shipping time applies)

— Partial refund depending on the extent of the damage

MirrorLab and the shipping carrier share responsibility for transport damage. We will always work with you to find a fair solution.

 

6. Cancellation & Changes

Because all mirrors are custom made, cancellations or changes to your order are only possible within 48 hours of order confirmation, before production begins.

After production has started, cancellations are not possible and no refund will be issued.

If you need to change specifications after confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible. Changes may result in additional costs and extended production time.
